Lead the development from the ground up of the new microservice that replaced an existing paid scheduling provider called TimeKit and added new features for filtering pharmacies by availability. The new service cut monthly Scheduling costs from 25k CAD to 2k (Go, Kubernetes, Kafka, Serverless). Took part in designing and implementing the Availability Report that calculates pharmacy availability across whole regions such as Ontario using Serverless computing (DynamoDB, Serverless, NodeJS).
